The previous works "Shimizu Pink Peach" and "Uszakura"
both sold out before the Lunar New Year,
and many customers have since frequently asked when they would be remade.
🐇This year, [Gosho Some Yukiusagi] returns in a more delicate pink,
with a lively small painting hidden in the cuff;
The snow rabbit leaps, chasing after the peach fruit,
The pure white rabbit is considered an auspicious omen,
symbolizing abundance, luck, and vitality,
while peaches also represent longevity, warding off illness
andare auspicious objects that ward off disaster.
▫️ Gosho Some Color Palette
"Gosho Some" initially began due to the Empress's preference,
referring to a dyeing technique originating in Japan's Edo period during the Kan'ei era,
a light and subdued pink,
often described as a blend with cherry blossom colors, with a subtle pink hue,
evoking thoughts of beautiful ancient capitals and elegant aristocratic culture.
After much comparison, we discarded overly sweet and saturated pinks,
presenting an appropriate delicate pink hue, distinct from last year's Uszakura color.
This year's Gosho Some better complements and balances skin tones.
▫️ Japanese-style wide sleeves
This year, the cuffs have been specially widened by three parts,
revealing a scene of snow rabbits chasing peaches when folded back.
The inside of the wide sleeves is filled with peaches and snow rabbits printed on silky fabric,
When the cuffs are folded back, it's like unrolling a ukiyo-e scroll,
adding a touch of playful kimono charm.
The neckline and placket seams are joined,
using a special double-layer appliqué process,
durable and resistant to deformation with prolonged use.
▫️ Ingenious Craftsmanship
The brand's iconic Chinese frog buttons,
are still hand-woven, with meticulous work producing exquisite results.
The short-cut body of the garment allows the wearer to raise the waistline,
appearing taller and more upright.
The hem features a specially curved finish, subtly refined.

Originally a short-style Tang suit,
it can also be worn as a Japanese-style cardigan jacket,
the wide-sleeve design makes the overall silhouette lighter,
